4:46 PM: The power went *bloo!* about an hour ago, and the machines I need to work are still down. Plus I got here at 10 AM today for a meeting which I guess was canceled - either that or it only lasted 5 minutes and I missed it, and everyone's keeping very very quiet about it. I'd believe it. Point being, though, that here I am, waiting around, nothing to do, falling asleep, wasting my time yet again. Neat.
I think the power outage was my fault, anyway. I sent a note to our building-stuff person saying "brrrrrrrrrrrr" because it was freezing in here. Not long after, powie!, and now there's warm air coming out of the giant ceiling tube vent tentacles. I can sympathize, I've lived in apartments myself where the fuses would go if you tried to run the heat and the lights at the same time...
Maybe I should just go rent a movie or something.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the
author is definitely
unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
