5:36 PM: Let's see: coffee, the calamari appetizer from Primo which is this big styrofoam container full of fried calamari along with two cups of that yummy Primo sauce, several handfuls of miniature marshmallows, a bottle of Sobe Orange Carrot Elixir, several handfuls of popcorn, a couple mini Mr. Goodbars, one mini Hershey's Dark, and a few Reese's Pieces. I have been here maybe 3 hours. Urp.
8:25: No wonder I haven't been able to figure out when Titus is playing. It hadn't even opened here yet. Curse this Oscar season. It's gotten mixed reviews, but I still want to see it, just for the look of it alone.
Ton of things I want to see, in fact, or seems that way. Let's add them up. Titus , Supernova , The End of the Affair , The Green Mile, , Angela's Ashes , Magnolia , Eye of the Beholder , Girl, Interrupted , A Map of the World , The Mission , The Cider House Rules , The Emperor and the Assassin , Anna and the King , The Limey , Topsy-Turvy and even Stuart Little kinda. That's only about, oh, 40 hours of film altogether. No problem.
Sigh. Well, I suppose this'd be easier if I wasn't at work until 11 PM every night. But that'd mean being there before 2. Which means being awake before that, I'm pretty sure. Let's all sit back and get comfortable for the old story now.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
