10:36 PM: Someone rejected one of my gummi bears today because it "felt stale". Stale? Gummi bears? Like they were fresh at one point? "Oooh la la, she come vite from ze gummi vine, m'sieur!" Loan me a fracture, thank you.
My Mac is still dead and I am still fixing it. So far, the disk is theoretically working again, OS 9 is installed (cross tentacles), and I am trying to restore the disk's contents from these Jaz drive cartridges. Is there a particular reason that the Microsoft Office folder needs to be 80 mb?? No, it's just fun for them to make little Macs crash. Boom! Ha ha! Yeep.
As far as I know, I still don't work for AOL. Yet.
Otherwise, ho hum. Burned my hand. Ow. Spending too much money on cabs. Rereading every Iain Banks book I have, again. Oh! I saw The Sixth Sense this weekend. Yes, a perfectly decent little movie. More of a psychological drama than a scary movie, though it definitely had its little EEK! moments. I really liked the mom.
Uh..... Smarties for Snack today. Their 50th Anniversary, or so I was told.
Yep.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the

unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
