SATAN DRIVES TO WORK

  Moooooooooo

7 January 2000

9:13 PM: I got my new Hepburn CD today - cleverly titled Hepburn, those cheeky girls. The strangest thing is that I bought it from an Australian web site (though it turns out they're really English after all, d'oh). But all the postage on the package is from Thailand. Plus, as far as I can tell, the whole thing including shipping cost me only about $13. Global economy, go figure.

Anyway, I still quite like them, although from what I'm gathering, trying to find web sites or reviews or anything else that might say which one is which, it's one of the most reviled releases in the UK this season. People are just so mean. That's what they said about ABBA at first, too, you know.

Oh dear. Well, finally found someplace with More Info About Hepburn!!!! Eeek. Here's Bevvo, the drummer. Born in 1980. Let's check that date again - yes, that would be right about when I turned 21, wouldn't it? Oh dear. On the other hand, her favourite movie star is Bruce Willis, "because he's fit", and he's gotta be at least older than me.

I tried installing a beta version of Eudora on my Mac yesterday, and somehow ended up completely corrupting the hard drive. It doesn't even recognize itself anymore. (Poor thing, I know the feeling.) From the standpoint of having an excuse not to work, this isn't so bad, but honest, there were just a few things that I really did want to do. Fart.

Oh no! Wow, the pop life really is fast paced. Drummer Bevvo has just quit Hepburn! Oh man, and for a career in multimedia...

Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the author is definitely unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
