12:26 AM 10/29/1999: I guess this should technically be tomorrow's entry, by some people's lights. Me, I say it's today until the sun rises. And then it's morning until the sun sets.
Bery Brief Bentry: Typos running away with me here. Going to see Luscious Jackson tomorrow, accompanied by young friend Penny, who I hope does not get crushed, being small. But first, have to make big dash over to Paramount Theatre in Oakland to give away tickets to Philip Glass, d'oh. Surely I've explained this once. If not, I will, later.
Just about to pull the switch on three days worth of radically simplifying the code that I found on my doorstep when the other guy from this project quit & moved to New York, the lucky bastard. Two nights ago, I could have done this on an earlier version, but I thought, "No, that would be irresponsible, to make such a big change in the middle of the night."
Tonight I think, "Send it out and run!"
Um, and that's all. I'm still very tired. I still get annoyed with people too easily. But I think I'm returning to my normal, laconic, pre-volcanic temperament. It's good.
I cannot shake the not merely mistaken but totally pointless belief that my office crush might actually kind of like me, sort of.
