U.S. offer puts new pressure on Yugoslav leader
MSNBC STAFF AND WIRE REPORTSWASHINGTON, June 24 - The United States on Thursday offered a reward of up to $5 million to anyone providing information leading to the capture of alleged war criminals in Yugoslavia, including President Slobodan Milosevic. Milosevic and four of his top lieutenants were indicted by the U.N. war crimes tribunal last month amid skepticism they could ever be brought to trial.
