Yes,I agree with you about Bowyer,a very odd choice by West Ham! The last time I was in sheffield was for a F.A Cup semi-final yonks ago.

Not '89 me hopes!!! Were West Ham playing? Did they win? We live not to far away from Sheffield - 30 miles or so - ("we" = me & Kid!). Although at the moment he's in Norwich and I'm in France.

Could say that! I'm studying french, and as this is 3rd year, i'm living in France, working as a language assistant in a High School. Really enjoying it! Also studied italian for 2 years and spent a month over there working in a nightclub, and i'm learning spanish this year (in french), and will continue with it next year at uni with the hope of spending some time over there after my degree! Exciting stuff! I really enjoy learning foreign languages, and travelling and seeing dfferent cultures, and putting the language in practice just rocks. So there ya go!! What about yourself?

I can speak A tiny bit of german, and thats about it as far as foreign languages go. I've just read some comments by Nelson Mandela on the Iraqi crisis,in one section he accused Blair and Bush of undermining the UN,he then whent on to ask if they acted in the way they did was because the General Secretary of the UN was a black man.I think his comments are irresponsible to say the lest.

Right-o, I've just read up. He did seem particularly condemning of the war upon Iraq, old Nelson. My favourite part was the bit where he mentioned Tony Blair abdicating his post as Prime Minister. I've not seen Tony Blair for weeks now doing anything within this country (No, it maybe isn't the highest on his agendas, I'm not criticising, simply making the point. I haven't seen him. Other people might. I digress). But his comments about the GS being black seemed to come a little out of nowhere. Unless he was suggesting it exasperatedly as a reason, because he could think of no other possibles. I don't know. Remember, however, that Nelson Mandela has not the sway people may wish. His clamour for peace - a good thing in principle - will not change the mind of he with his mind set upon war.
