7:29 PM: So last Wednesday, I go to el pshrink, and bla bla bla, and then almost back out of going to work but the train shows up so I figure, OK why not. Get there around 3:30 PM, maybe. I have no clean clothes at all, and of course I did not get up early and get it from the laundromat before my appointment, because that would be sensible. So I call and ask them when they close. Oh, 6:30? I can make that. And I leave. Somewhere between 5:45 and 6.
I think between then and yesterday I left the house maybe twice.
Yesterday I had to come into the office here to do Quark stuff on the Mac. Only to discover that neat! Our main file servers were all going to be switched off and new shiny replacements take over, starting Right Now. It'll only take a few minutes. Ha ha. It is of no surprise that the only things missing are the things I need to do my monthly task. (That really sounds like I'm having my period, doesn't it? Maybe that's the problem...)
Today again I am at work and I hate it here. I found out that our oafish corporate stepsiblings think they are going to parachute in next year and "help" us rewrite everything we're doing to be the same as them. I say, I want a multinational peacekeeping force in place first.
TV is reruns or stupid shows pre-empting the shows I want to see. Stupid TV.
No media was harmed in the making of this entry.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
