8:41 PM: Got two (2) new Merrick CDs in mail at work Today, cool. From CD Baby, this neat indie online CD store. These are, let's see... Drive Around a lot Hard and Fast Driving Club and An album for Raymond.... The first one is the newest one I believe. Listened to them at work once through each. Pretty good! Ayup! But that's like less than a half-listen because of the working and talking and things.
I joke about senility and mooo grrr and all, but I'm beginning to wonder how much of a joke it is. I really don't remember anything anymore. What's surprising is how much it doesn't matter. I just stay in the same permanently aggrieved state without really knowing - or caring - how I got that way. There's an autobiography title for you: "How I Got This Way". Someone must have already used it, surely. Ah yes.
Went to see Waking Life last night. Lana and Eddie and Saul and me.
Well I liked it, at least.
I think the guy who did this interview at Salon got it right: "Half of Richard Linklater's new film, 'Waking Life,' is hogwash, but that just may be the point."
New Angel tonight. It's sitting there on the hard drive RIGHT NOW as a matter of fact. In the battle between responsibility and desire, who will win?
Who do you think? Later!
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the
author is definitely
unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
