6:11 PM: Angel good. Silly vampire. Felt unright to see show without faithful sidekick Buffy though. Network dumb. Want satellite TV, with digital video thing. Must wait til mid-October. Satellite TV company, also dumb. Ugh.
We had a power failure last night of course. But not until sometime after midnight. The main bad effect was having no alarm to go off this morning - something about which it is impossible to complain with any strength. But I did end up calling the Post Office after 9 AM instead of between 8 and 9 like the moro- er, helpful fellow said. So all he did Today was take my name and address and number and tell me he'd "get right back to me." With predictable result. If I were a cursing man, I would imply that the US Postal Service was having carnal relations with one or more of its parents. This isn't just a package you've lost, you idiots, it's my CIGARETTES!!! Don't you realize how dangerous that is?
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
