Chicken In My Teeth

4:13 PM: So Lana is down at the O'Reilly Open Source Conference in San Diego this week, which I was thinking about going to at one point and then our company went all broke. She just called to tell me that my book is on sale there - like, featured! by the publisher! piled up on tables and stuff! Heh. I coulda given autographs. What a nightmare that would have been. People asking me PHP questions like I'm supposed to know the answers.
She was also telling me about Tijuana and her adventures with the US Customs Office, but I think I'll skip over that.
Here I am at home again, enjoying one of the last of my official days off. I was going to get just a whole lot of work done on these Wednesdays, as I recall the plan. Funny how it hasn't worked out quite like that. Honestly I'd just like to go back to sleep.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
All names are fake, most places are real, the author is definitely unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
