12:33 PM: Wow. Real soon now, this link is going to be dead - Pamie's taking Squishy down. First I lose Filler, now Squishy too? And MBTV has gotten so snarky as to not even be funny. Meanwhile I'm coming up on three years myself. It's all wacky. Time and stuff.
Went with Lana and Eddie and Saul to a party last night. Birthday party for a friend of theirs who I semi-know, at a house where someone else I somewhat better know used to live. If that's tenuous enough for you. There was beer and pickles and, um, whipped cream shall we say? And a man spinning a stick that was on fire at the ends. Very pretty in the night, especially for some people who had the special water. So that was OK. Got home eventually, heated up a whole plate of dubious leftover chow mein, had about three bites, and fell asleep. That's an interesting smell to wake up to.
Oh, and also, I got a lot of very useful advice from Lana about better mental living through chemistry, because she knows because she went to college. So now I have, let's see, fish oil gelcaps, and Kinko Balboa or something like that, and your standard B complex with iron. To possibly compensate a bit for my diet of soup and bagels. One of these is also supposed to increase the flow of blood to my brain. What my brain's going to do with it, I have no idea. Just as long as it doesn't sign anything.
Tonight! Red Hose Painters! Neato.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
