8:54 PM: Finished A Dark Imbalance this morning (why wasn't I sleeping? good question). My gosh. Is it legal to have a paperback science fiction trilogy that doesn't end with happy Ewoks dancing round the campfire or some equivalent thereof? I kept being struck by parallels with Buffy, too, specifically about Angel and Spike and that whole redemption issue. Yes I know how kind of scary that is. In any case: whole series raised to higher level esteem by this ending. Recommendo.
Otherwise veddy little new or interesting. Still only Tuesday. I was supposed to have the day off tomorrow but the only remaining person who works with this horrible software had the nerve to go on vacation this week and next. So I have to wait, poo.
