2:05 PM: I hope.
Now then. Joss Whedon, you beautiful evil bastard. That was a brilliant Buffy episode last night. I can't believe the number of loose ends that got tied up. The Dagon Sphere! The troll hammer! The big dead star of the show!!!! So is it "Dawn The Vampire Slayerette" now? Was the whole UPN move an elaborate hoax? Race wars in New Jersey? Oh wait, sorry, that was Buckaroo Banzai.
Angel was great too. I Knew it was just a flesh wound. And I like this new character, Fred. She's real purty, and right smart too. Plus that slight accent, and hey! not blonde. Angel has really come a long way as a show, it's nice to see. It doesn't have the extreme high points that Buffy does, but if you look at the season as a whole, I think it was actually the more consistently better show this year.
Counting down from 7-3-0 indeed... bastard.
2:23 PM: Today's Lunch Menu: Mmmm, this chicken & rice jambalaya soup-like stuff from Briazz, and a big ol chicken cobb salad still waiting to be eaten. I may have to leave that for tomorrow. They're opening a Tower Records real not-just-cutouts store in the old outlet space, up the street a few doors. Cool.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
