SATAN DRIVES TO WORK

These Cookies Are For The Mouse

29 January 2001

10:23 PM: Monday. Hmm. Saw Traffic yesterday. Good. Not great. Catherine Zeta-Jones is really good at playing an annoying arrogant pregnant rich woman. That must have been quite a stretch for her. I don't know, there was a lot of hype about this being the movie that "blows the lid off the Drug War". No, that movie would have had Michael Douglas's daughter get arrested along with some black kid her age, and then we would have seen her get out of the charge altogether, while he got sent to prison on intent-to-sell charges for the next 300 million years. Then we could cross-cut between her empowering little AAA meetings and his educational interactions in the prison. Or hell, if that's too much, make it a scholarship kid from her own school. They'd fry, I'm sure.

I got up (sorta) this morning and did laundry. Had to fight off cart-wielding pissy people to claim my washing machine. Sheesh. We're running out of everything. Problem is clear: you people need to move somewhere else. But I managed to win through, finally, and now all 6,000 of my black t-shirts are clean again. I gotta get some different colors into my wardrobe.

Right now I've been trying to compile on these stupid mutant not-quite-FreeBSD servers again so I'm a wee bit annoyed. Plus after laundry I was so exhausted - yes! how pathetic is that? - that I had to lay down for just a minute, honestzzzzzzzzzzzzz....... Then it was 3 PM.

Oh, I just don't know.

Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
