SATAN DRIVES TO WORK

  Am Not, Am Not

19 January 2001

7:05 PM: Well I almost started my new sleep regimen this morning. I woke up, at least. But then I decided to start anew tomorrow on account of I was real tired.

Lots of new books from the book club came yesterday. All really cheesy space-navy-opera things. They're worth about two, maybe three hours each, I figure. Five if I'm drunk and can't focus or something. So that's fun. TONS of really great Hong Kong films are playing Thursday for the next few months at the 4 Star. Many Michelle Yeoh films I have not seen. Happy happy. (Wow, Ren & Stimpy, now there's some early 90s nostalgia for ya...) (Remember when you used to make jokes about being nostalgic for the 90s?) (We made the same jokes in the 80s. Look where that got us.) (The point here is that there's no hope at all for any of you, in case you're not quite getting that.) (No problem.)

Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the author is definitely unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
