Snappy Solstice!

3:02 AM: Whee, I didn't have to do anything Today! So I finished the omnibus edition of the first three books of the Black Company series by Glen Cook. And then tonight, around 12:30 AM, realized that the Today that's already started is the day I have to go find a UPS office to return my shoes and the day of young Penny's graduation ceremony which starts at 6 PM, and that's awfully early in the day for me on a Saturday.
Mamma Mia! was great fun. Usual stupid musical-theater shtick, of course, but all those ABBA songs! o/~I crossed the stream / I have a dream... o/~ (No, they don't know what that means either, these are phonetic English lyrics remember.) Very, very silly. And Burger King was open when we got out. Hard to beat.
And oh, other things. Not that kind of other things. But still. Amazing how little it takes to still the nagging voices in my head. I mean, the objective situation is unchanged. Yet I still feel better. Pretty much adds up to the same conclusion as everything else always does, which is that I am an idiot.
Anyways. Vacation! No typing!
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
