6:08 PM: I was saying how I was kind of worried about having my PHP code reviewed by one of the guys who wrote the dang language. But now I have seen this and I don't feel so bad:
Does Perl have a round() function? What about ceil() and floor()? Trig functions? Remember that int() merely truncates toward 0. For rounding to a certain number of digits, sprintf() or printf() is usually the easiest route. printf("%.3f", 3.1415926535); # prints 3.142Dentist this morning, left side deep cleaning. Not so much of the steel hook this time, more of the high-velocity water jet. Like there were Europeans rioting in my mouth. Eww.
Bought manymany things this weekend. New CDs, books, etcetera. I think I will wait until I have actually read them or listened to them, whichever proves most effective in each case, to say anything about them. A radical theory, I know.
As to baseball, all I want to say is, Go Cards. Rah. Sob.
I'm tired now.
8:42 PM: OK, I can't even remember what I'm typing while I'm typing it. That qualifies as officially Too Sleepy.
9:12: Rule #302/A.5: Don't ask a question unless you really want to know the answer:
why doesnt God give a good god damn about helping me?
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.
