Ho Ho Whatever

Ah, vacation. I think.
No one around, nothing special going on. Went to see Wing Chun (no, not that one, the movie) at the UC tonight. Aaah, lemon chicken, Michelle Yeoh, and me. Can it get better? Well, yes it could, but will it? Not likely. I must have seen this movie a dozen times by now and I still love it. Nobody is really bad in it, you know? They're just naughty. My favorite bit is the little nun with the powerful hunger for soy bean curd. So cute!
Then a nice long chat with Greta at the bar - haven't seen her in ages and ages. I even found myself exchanging a few decent remarks with her inexplicable boyfriend, Dudley. Never understand that, me, but hey, who asked me to? Nobody. The boys girls like, who can figure. He's great friends with Mitch, naturally. I suppose they've got something going for them. Some kind of guy thing. Never really part of that.
She had one hell of a year from the sound of it. Made any little difficulties I encountered sound about as small as I expected they were in the first place. Good to hear that the advent of a new year will be good news for somebody, at least.
Now it's Christmas, and oh! the joy and rapture. Happy holidays to one and all. I hope you're all well and with people you care about. Me, I'm gonna go read. See you in a few days.
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the

unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
