OK, Knock That Off Dept.: I've come across two - not one, but two - references to Mama's Family in the last hour, from completely unconnected sources. I don't think I've even heard that show's name in any context since the year it was on TV. It's just wrong.
Hah. I walked out of the building tonight around 1 AM, and as I was heading toward the door, I saw that it was bright as day outside. And I actually thought, "Damn! Did I stay here until dawn again?"
It was just some PG&E construction crew's megawatt lighting setup, though. Luckily. Notice the lack of pause for logical reflection, though. That'll tell you something about how this week has been going.
You know, I like getting extra donuts as much as the next man, but this is getting out of hand. I bought 2 today and got 5, and 5 donuts is a lot of donuts. Don't know what else I can do with them, though. I can see trying to hand them out to homeless people in this city. "Whoah, no thanks, man, I'm trying to cut down on my fat intake." "Were those made with animal fat?"
Not much of note to talk about today. Work work work, mostly. Damn public deadlines. Skittles for Snack!, that was nice. I continue to be strangely cheerful. Probably just no time to be anything else. There's a ghost of a strategy there....
Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the

unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
