Well, certainly none of us Yanks are going to be available during the time of day you're usually on.
And today is one of those special days that includes a nap.
I got caught today delivering canned whipped cream directly into my mouth. So much for being cool.

Well I don't think it's really a breach of etiquette as long as you didn't actually wrap your lips around the nozzle. You didn't do that, did you?
The problem here was more related to scheduling. By the time my guests found parking, the Macy's parade had already left my neighborhood. We had to take the subway and chase the parade down to Times Square. But we did get to see the giant Rocky and Bullwinkle balloon, so it was worth it, despite the rain.

That's what's sad. If I had wrapped my lips around the nozzle, I wouldn't have been heard from the next room.
Rain anywhere north of "the line" this time of year sounds unbearable. I detest cold, although for short durations it can be fun. Like going to Vermont (into Burlington) in two weeks. Oh boy!

Actually, the rain was really warm. It was kind of confusing. Now the cold winds have arrived and I saw a little frost this morning. It's wintry and fine.
California Girl that I am, I still find it exotic and charming after seven years here. It's all much more pleasant if you don't drive.
