Its a really foul, smelly habit.

And its killing me slowly (Though not my smoking. Just other peoples)

Yip, it is gross; and you don't have long hair. That is when it is the worse because you just have to walk through a smokey room and it sticks to you and you smell it all around your face. Or when you get back from the pub and go straight to bed then role over on to your hair it is like having that fresh pub smell in the comfort of your own home Mmmmm. Not so nice really.
