8 miles??? More like 3, foo'! But it is a lot higher where Kid lives, and he does get a lot more snow. However, in Mirfield (cant believe you know the name of the town where we live), i woke up, drew back my curtains and it was snowing heavily, and it continued to snow on and off all day. The first time this has ever happened. A white Christmas! So, a good day!

4 or 5 years ago there was a link on PDC to a site, called Late Sleepers Almanac or something of the like. Kid made an entry there and made mention of Mirfield.
