But not really, because it's still the goddamn twenty first century, which I hate and I want to make go away. I want a refund on this stupid century, because it obviously sucks (see: ShrubCo., War on Terra, et. al. cetera.) And I still don't have a hovercraft. When I was little they used to say we'd all have hovercrafts when the years started with 20's instead of 19's. I'm high.

	Yeah, I've been wondering why I don't have a jetpack yet. And why I still have to do my laundry in water instead of just recycling and replicating new clothes.

Hey, we've got time travel and teleportation (thank you, New Scientist), even if it's only for subatomic particles at the moment. That makes it the future as far as I'm concerned. Even if we don't have jetpacks. I miss SFNet sometimes. A substantial number of the people there were tweakers, nasties, and weirdos, but to this day I've never found anyplace else that had such good live chat. What delicious flights of fancy were there.... *sentimental sigh*

Pity there wasn't a way just to keep the good ones together. I guess I still have my slightly cracked rose tinted glasses on about it - I became rather fond of those Tweakers and Nasties many of them were rather good to me. And god - in hindsite why the hell did I EVER pick that handle?????
