parent: You Wouldn't Expect That, Would You?

Re: You Wouldn't Expect That, Would You? by Wash! on 2003-05-24 05:47:01

Didn't we agree to watch it together at Easter? I think we did! But we clearly both forgot. Anyhow, i still own it on video chez moi, and we have a date to watch it with a couple of Sol in the summer.

One week today i leave for Barcelona! Ive just been on the phone to the woman i'm staying with for the first 4 weeks. Had to espeak the old espanish. It reminded me of the time i called France the week before i came here to book a campsite... absolute disaster! The french is great now though, and hopefully the Spanish be too when i come back. Will try to speak to you all* before i leave.

All = tall haired folk; indonesian/dutch/english folk; chunky monkeys, and Tom Cowan fans.

It was the Tom Cowan thing that got her. You'll struggle, anyways, she's in Exeter for the week. Or something.

I knew really! Damn her going to Exeter! Well, i guess i'll just have to speak to you instead. Whats she doing in Exeter, anyway? Or were you not listening/ couldnt care. You'd better say Hi to her from me when you next speak to her. Just to clear my old conscience for calling her evil.

I think she's on holiday there. Its that time of year again. I probably won't speak to her until....ooh, we've started going round Britain (next Sunday). Oh, and this is the first time I've sat in front of PdC with a cup of the coffee you gave me. Very nice it is, too. As I've mentioned, its a great pick me up for the mornings...

NB - I won't tell her you said she's evil. She's got all paranoid that my mates don't like her, and I had to re-assure her that it wasn't (entirely) true. Quite a strange conversation, that one.

What??? She's crazY! I love your mum. Anyone who manages to irritate you so, and who takes the abuse she takes from you deserves admiration. And that i give her. Siempre.
