Feed the goat... by Skiddy on 2003-02-11 01:13:07
...and the goat will score!! It's a phrase which has often been used and hopefully will continue to be so. And it is so true...two touches=two goals except for a crappy ref decision which disallowed one. Always nice to see an ex-player punish his old team plus you gotta love that funky, bumpy head.

KILL THE LAMB by Wash! on 2003-02-11 06:16:26 | Reply to this | |
Feed the goat, kill the lamb! Heard something on french TV today, which, as can happen early in the morning, I think i may have got the wrong end of the stick, though I aint sure! Its some 3 day long Muslim festival where they kill a sheep, and eat it, remembering the suffering around the world. Not sure if the celebration's called "Lambadam"...but it should be! |

Is it Eid? I know the biggest selling toy for Eid in Baghdad was Winnie The Pooh. That was not long ago. Isn't Eid the end of Ramadan? I thought it was at the end of last year, November time. I remember Konnie said something about it on Blue Peter. It was a congratulations to people who fasted or some such. With her big hair. And her job on the Top 40 show. And the breadcrumb-related icecream she went wrong on last week. Oddball. |

Ouch! I don't watch Blue Peter, I just see it. I tend to get about 5-ish on Mondays and Wednesdays, so when I sit down and turn on the TV its on. And I don't turn it off, for my sins. |

Its not a bad thing, dude. Don't be ashamed. I did the same thing with Star Academy over here. Came in from work, put the TV on, and there it nwas. Every day. I eventually got addicted to it. (Its like Fame Academy - or a mixture of Big Brother and Pop Idol). Still, better than BP with Konnie Booth. |
