root: Who is Shlong?

I thought Schlong was the inspiration for that Sisqo hit song. Back on topic, I am all too familiar with Tulare, and in real life I know Tater and Tommie (and Dot, but she does not post much). Another poster of yore, PinkyStinky, frequented a board I hang out on a lot. Those British boy-toys are another clique altogether, though. Such is the magic of the Internet.

Yes, Amelia and I met right here in Taterland a few years ago. Since then she, the California-girl-living-in-the-Big-Apple and I, the Alabama-born-and-raised-boy, have had a few visits!

You're familiar with Tulare?!? Tulare, California?!? Get the F**K out of here!

There had to be something between Fresno and Bakersfield, and I'd rather it be Tulare than me.

My god...I can't believe this. Someone knows where Tulare is...and you know how horrible of a place it is. You're not from there are you?

Well, I've never been to Tulare, and I'm developing some gratitude that such is the case. Apparently I should keep it that way. What is so bad about this place of places?

Tulare could be best described as Hell; and Hell, according to Dante, is like a great inverted cone, a dagger that pierces through the center of the Earth. Over the gates to the underworld are inscribed the words "All hope abandon, ye who enter in!" Trust me, out of those that have lived in Tulare very few ever leave. I count myself as lucky.

  So where did you go?

I am not from there, I am from a different grim, outlying part of California. Since that is where I met Tater (making high school nearly tolerable), I won't divulge the name of the burg. I'll only point out that we also fled within weeks of graduation.

Ah...I don't blame you. I moved to Santa Cruz...well, at least a town very close to Santa Cruz. Nothing could have kept me there.

Santa Cruz? As in the home of o'neill? Cool

Maybe if enough of us hang here regularly enough, we should all meet. "The San Francisco Haj!" I'll bet Tater would let us all stay with him.

That sounds a uniquely wonderful idea, yet still you get that feeling that someone would comfound the expectation. I know you would all be surprised to see Wash has wheels instead of feet....

Nah, just kidding.

You knew already.

Hey you, keep my wheel-shaped-ferlangical-foot-pieces to yourself. At least my stomach doesnt double as an eastern european cement mixer: stand up, Kid!
