Old Mole by the sfnetgeist on 2002-03-11 08:58:53
Old Mole was much loved and is much missed. At this point, we're just numb, and can't help recalling the similarly tragic demises of Coot and X-Boy. Were we really that self-destructive? Why ask? Obviously we were. Ten years seems like a lifetime ago, but it was several lifetimes ago. Honor Mole's memory, but don't follow his path. Now, more than ever, we need to support one another. If any one of us succumbs to despair, the evil one wins. There is a God: Jesus Christ. Praise his name. Ask him for salvation.

I find despair useful in activating a performance drive. Without unhappiness, no-one would quest for, nor ever desire, its converse. Of course, we need to support one another, this can only serve to help us obtain our overall goal. |

Mole . . . was a constant to many of us ... if not a best friend (tatererere). Last night I was impressed that our connections are still so strong. But does it have to be in response to tragedy? Can we convene for a joyous occasion? |
