Oversexed in Essex (was: Re: Fun in England) by [no name] on 2001-12-14 00:42:26
This brings up something I've always wondered about -- what is it about Essex? I keep hearing jokes to the effect that Essexers (Esingians? Escarodes?) are highly-sexed come-hither types. Is it all a PR campaign? Is it just a subconscious response to the letters s.e.x. in the name? This may seeem like a frivolous question but in fact I have heard several jokes to this effect, on TV and elsewhere.

I don't know why? It might be the accent, but Essex girls do tend to be bints. Obviously, not all, but they have a trait of being the small, fuller-figuered, overlymade-up, ladies. Essex Girls. Aaah.
