We still haven't gotten any definite word. The facilities guy who is a big liar is still lying, but we never pay attention to him anyway. People are kind of simultaneously freaked and not freaked. Nobody really believes it, but it's hard not to wonder. Especially now that cases are showing up where the patients had no obvious exposure. And Cipro is out of line as a prophylactic measure. But it's all moot anyway, since it turned out to be some unspecified non-anthrax substance. Our management is being completely useless as far as telling us definite facts, beyond that minimum. I can't tell if this is due to malice, disgregard, stupidity, or some gumbo of all those and more.
