For the last week (at least) I have cut down tremendously on the amount of television that I watch -- and no wonder -- just last night (before I shut the TV off) there was some ex-military intelligence guy who now does some kind of psychological profiling of terrorist types and their subsequent terrorist aftermath trailings... To reiterate what the terrorists hate about us specifically: our lazy, rich white asses et al; our apparent lack of need for God and our media/celebrity gristmill. So. As Kid so rightly nailed it last month it IS a media war and even the media didn't catch on that THEY were the targets until, well, just the other day. i.e. The National Enquirer's latest headline had itself as a feature! HA! Anyway... my point being that right now there is more-than-ever mind-numbing subliminal messaging going on because the media thinks it is more powerful than powerful. I'm just glad I still have the ability (and strength) to hit the OFF button...

If it adds any gravity, I'm with you all the way on this one. I try to see the beginning of a news report a day, so I don't lose touch with what I should have been told that day, and that's it.We're sending our love down the well.....
