This was my first trip to Spain, and I have to say I ate much
better there than I did in Paris, contrary to expectation.
I love Mexican food, but the coffee there was perhaps my
greatest disappointment. Why can't they get with the program
on that one? It seems like such a cultural mis-match. Of course, the solution for most iffy food in Mexico is to smother it with cilantro and lime juice. Maybe I should have tried that with the coffee -- it actually works pretty well on Chicken Noodle Soup from a can, even back home.
