i would never have thought that crap-weasels and people in shorts were mutually exclusive categories. it's july in san francisco and so, of course, freezing. i can see the fog pouring over the hills as i write this. that song got it all wrong. if you're going to san francisco, fuck putting flowers in your hair: wear layers.

And I am attempting to tape the Tour de France off of ESPN and it is COMPLETELY FRUSTRATING. It is bad enough that they keep changing the broadcast time every two days, none of the websites can quite agree on how to display the dates of programs that air between midnight and six a.m. Which day is it REALLY on? See what happens when you get started with this Sports stuff? AAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!

As my WORMNERD would suggest, I'm only about 5 seconds behind Amelia (so to speak). But my IM has crashed, which delayed me a little.

OK, now that Armstrong has gained the lead this all looks a bit more promising. Guess I am a sucker for familiar celebrities.
But honestly, the first time I heard his name, I was sure he was made up by Marketing.

Is that 'One giant leap for man-kind' Armstrong? Stretch Armstrong?

And in the 1930s, there was a radio program called Jack Armstrong, the All American Boy! Not to be confused with Louis Armstrong, I guess.
