	Hello, kid! Dot and I are on vacation by motorcycle. We are on our way to the Smokey Mountains and stopped here to see my granddaughter's first dance recital. If you didn't already know, I'm even older than Tater!

	We went hiking this morning on the Oconee River... really nice... we found wild garlic, sassafras and mulberries. Recital tonight then off again in the morning. First to Dahlonega, where gold was discovered in the 1800s... lots more to see on the way to the mountains. Doubtful that I will have access for the next week or so. Bye!

Tommie's in there with you? That is one heck of a vacation! Is it a tight fit with Dot, too? And I can totally relate to the "Whither Australia?" thread. Celebrating my birthday last night with the new Jackie Chan (two nun-chuks up) and a brew pub was fun and friendly, but I still keep thinking, "This time last year I was in the Prado." I better go somewhere over Independence Day weekend or I am going to start getting really mean.
